McDonald's Ponies 2

"Someone named EVN tipped me off in email about some upcoming McDonalds, so I called the them up to confirm it.

Apparently another wave of ponies is planned for March 9th (though she told me not to quote her on that exact date), along with Transformers on the boys side. They don't know specifically what characters/designs will be available, but she did say they usually try to release new sets, so hopefully something awesome pops up.

I was also told that this is going to be a huge promotion, and they expect to sell out of them pretty quickly. I guess our rabid collecting last time around tipped them off? We didn't have much access to blind bags back then, so these and the five piece molded set were the only show accurate stuff we could get our hands on (Even if McDonalds toys aren't really known for their quality). It sure was funny trying to sneak into McDonalds incognito style only to be called out as the third guy to come looking for ponies for his "Niece" or "Sister". I'm sure it will be twice as funny this time around.

I might go hunting for these since I never heard of the fandom when the first batch came out last year. If any fellow Cypressians are reading this, just stay outta my way, cause I plan to stock up on these. 1 set for me and sell the rest!

Stopped by a McDonald's at lunch today, got a Fluttershy toy. And you know what this means!

Addition: I got 2 more Fluttershys & 3 Twilights from just up the street. There are 3 more McDonalds I can hit tomorrow for the others. Not a bad start I'm too tired and lazy to go anywhere else tonight

I got enough ponies to get as much as 8 full sets right now. Im going to pony raid hard for the rest of the week to even them out.

From what I gather, there are 80 ponies per box. Each box has 10 sets of all 8, so it seems you can get all 8 in a single stop. However it took me until last Friday to find Rainbow Dash & Cheerilee, completing 3 full sets. Pinkie Pie is the hardest pony to find around where I live.

I'll hit McDonalds again later this afternoon. There are at least 4 within 5 miles

I got 4 more Cheerilees & 3 Rainbow Dash, so I have 4 full sets and even more duplicates. I think I need 4 more LB, AJ & PP, and 1 more Twilight to even them all out = 8 or 9 sets.

Would you be willing to part with a Cheerilee and whatever that other one is for $4?
