Oni-Con October 19-21

To be held again in Galveston Convention Center. The website hasn't mentioned the date yet, I just got it from the wiki page. The site may by up sometime in July - http://www.oni-con.com/

Is anypony here planning on attending? I may share our beach house if anyone here is planning on going - save a few hundred on hotel costs. Holiday Inn Resort, just a couple blocks down from the convention center costs me about 500 for the weekend last year.

Now I didn't take pictures at the convention this year. but I have one I want to share

Barbetos came to Galveston to attend with me. He arrived friday night.
Saturday, we both hit the dealer's room first, I got a bunch of anime series: Elfen Lied, Cat Planet Cuties, Akira, Strike Witches vol.2, Chobits & Witch Hunter Robin. We tried to do a ghost tour, but when we got down there, about 10 minutes before the tour started, there was no one on the corner where the tour was supposed to start. So we went to the Train Museum instead, waiting for one that would start an hour after the one we originally came for. While going through the trains, we saw that - the dining car was used as a part room for kid's birthdays and they stored some party stuff in the kitchen. Pinkie Pie was here! I know it!



As for the panels we attended - mainly the late late night stuff There was a pony panel - Philosophy of Pony at 11 pm saturday with Houston Bronies Spokespony Tory Evans.
